Avondale Discovery Farm
Avondale Discovery Farm is a modern working farm with an historic component including 1890's homestead, 1890's stable complex with working Clydesdale horses.
Avondale Discovery Farm is a working research farm. While at Avondale, you can visit the historic Settlers' Homestead, Machinery Museum, Animal Nursery and Clydesdale Horses. Take a self-drive tour of Avondale and observe modern farming and land care activities. Pat the animals in the nursery, walk through the land care centre and visit the largest agricultural machinery museum in the southern hemisphere. Entry is free.
