Riverside Cottage

All linen is supplied: this includes all bedding and towels.

Riverside Cottage is the perfect base for exploring York & the Avon Valley. Nearby towns: Beverley; Northam; Greenhills; Quairading and Toodyay are all well worth a visit. Tourist information is available at the house but the York Visitor Centre, located in the town hall at 81 Avon Terrace, is your best option (phone 9641 1301).

Rates at a glance

Standard: mid week & Sunday are $130 per couple per night. Friday and Saturday nights are $150 per couple per night.

Premium: mid week & Sunday are $150 per couple per night. Friday and Saturday nights are $175 per couple per night.

Premium periods include all holiday periods and 'special event' weekends in York.

Extra people are $20 (adult) and $10 (child) per night in standard periods and $25 (adult) and $15 (child) in premium periods. Infants under 2 are free.

From the York Visitor Centre it is easy! You are already in the right street! Just head north along Avon Terrace until you see No. 198.

From Perth it will take you about 80 minutes to reach York. Take Great Eastern Highway through Mundaring and Sawyers Valley to The Lakes (50 km from Perth) and turn right onto Great Southern Highway. From here it is another 46 kilometers, almost due east, to York. On arrival in York, cross the railway line and turn left into Avon Terrace, the main street. Travel through the town centre down Avon Terrace until you reach No.198.

From south of York, take the Great Southern Highway through Beverley to York. When you arrive in York you will be in Avon Terrace. Drive through the town centre and keep going down Avon Terrace. You will find Riverside Cottage, on the right, at No. 198.

From east of York Take Quairading Road west until you reach a T junction near York. Turn right into York Road then travel about 2 kilometers and turn left into Balladong Road. This short road will take you over the Avon River. Just past the bridge turn right into Avon Terrace. Go through the centre and keep going down Avon Terrace until you see Riverside Cottage, on the right, at No. 198. ....The map below will help.

From north of York Approach York along the Northam York Road. This becomes Panmure Road when you reach York. A short distance along Panmure Road, turn right into Pool Street, left in Suburban Road and right into Glebe Street. Take Glebe Street across the Avon River and go until you reach a stop sign. Turn right and you will be in Avon Terrace, the main street. Keep going down Avon Terrace and you will find Riverside Cottage, on your right, at No. 198. ....The map below will help.

Mid Week Special!

In any week other than during peak times (holidays & special York days) you can book for 3 consecutive nights DURING THE WEEK for just $330 ($110 per night!) for the first 2 people and pay only $10 per person per night for each extra person (adult or child). This includes Sunday nights but NOT Fridays or Saturdays!
