York is the oldest inland town in Western Australia and has been officially acknowledged by the Australian Heritage Commision and the National Trust of Australia and the town site has been classified as a Historic Town. There are several walks and drives in and around town as well as Museums, National parks, Wineries, Air adventures, Wildflower and bird watches and lots lots more.
